Introduction
We present photographic V25 and
B25 magnitudes and colour indices for 114 galaxies within a
... arcmin square field centred on the cluster Abell 1377.

The internal precision of the magnitudes as
determined by repeated scans is 0·09 mag in V25 and 0·12
mag in B25. Images in a disk of radius 4 arcmin centred on the
bright star BD +56 1544 have been excluded owing to the halo of the stellar
image. The sample is essentially complete brightward of V25
= 17·8.
