Preamble
This document set has been scraped together
from some of the on-line help and monograph files. The main instruction
set for the GALAXY environment contains so much that is irrelevant to people
who do not wish to examine the large-scale structure of the universe etc
that it has been hived off [link
here]; it is almost all available by typing HELP... There is
also a Little Black Book of information about graphics, character sets
and fonts etc, available on request.
Documentation for research tools is seldom
complete or up-to-date. The exciting GXY Series will be improved and is
planned to grow into a proper, illustrated manual eventually. Thank you
for your impatience.
